What Heckle is

A daily crowd captions and votes on the single wildest real candle among Arc pools, picked from GeckoTerminal's keyless pool OHLCV for the Arc network. The winning line is stamped onto the candle's card at 23:59 UTC. Heckle never predicts a price, never says a pool is worth trading, and never asks for a real transaction — sign-in is a message signature, not a transfer.

Why this build says "prototype"

Round data (pool pair, move, OHLC) is live from GeckoTerminal, and signing in, captioning and clapping are real, verified writes to a real database — none of it is a mock. The build is labelled prototype because this repo's own primitives ledger does not yet record SIWE (EIP-4361 wallet sign-in) as verified for the Arc chain specifically, even though the standard works identically on every EVM chain. That is a record-keeping gap, not a working one, and it is the only reason for the label.

House rules for the mic

• One caption per wallet per round. One clap per wallet per round, and never for your own line.
• Captions are capped at 120 characters, plain text, checked against a wordlist at submit.
• A caption gets a report button; three reports from three wallets hide it pending review — the Hook.
• No slurs, no doxxing (emails, phone numbers, calling out another wallet by address).
• No price predictions, no buy suggestions, no invented crowd sizes or fake activity.

Where the numbers come from

Every candle number on this site is read live from GeckoTerminal's public API for the Arc network — no number here is invented. See /sources for the exact evidence trail of the trend this project is riding.

No custody, no token information

Heckle never takes custody of funds. There is no token, no contract address, and no trade link anywhere on this site before launch — pool names are shown for identification only, never as an invitation to trade.
